Original, Sustainable, Designed & Handmade in Australia ... and Just Gorgeous!

Introducing handmade pendants by Emma Mills, from The Paper Mills Studio.

From her studio on the Mornington Peninsula, Emma uses her background in fashion and her love of art to create a variety of gorgeous raffia, hemp string, white rope and linen pendants.

As they are handmade each one is unique! And Emma continues to add to her collection as she is continually inspired by nature around her.

A Little Bit About The Paper Mills Studio ...

The Paper Mills Studio Emma Mills Owner of the Paper Mills Studio

Emma is a true magician when it comes to weaving raffia, white paper rope, hemp string, you name it, I am sure she could weave it and make a beautiful creation.  Coming from a fashion background for over 15 years, Emma was ready for something different, so she rebranded and created a new space with a sustainable brand & vision, that incorporated functional objects including homewares & pendant lighting - The Paper Mills Studio.

Her pendants are handmade from environmentally sensitive materials which Emma is passionate about, making it an ethical consumer choice when her pendants are purchased.

Many hours are spent on each individual pendant which makes them so unique and you can guarantee that no one will have the same one as you!

At Cranmore Home & Co. we started stocking Emma's orginal pendants last year and have had a great response.  The Bell Shades, Cylinders and Sorrento Pendants were the first in our collection.  These have been super popular in Coastal and Hampton styled homes.

As seen in the Three Birds Renovation picture above, the white looped basket design has also been a favourite.  These are made with a cane or poplar base.  How intricate is this weaving!  You can now also get a version in Salmon, made with Hemp string!
