They continue to be one of our most popular furniture pieces, to the point that we are usually always on pre-order as we sell out prior to shipments arriving. So I thought they deserved a little blog just for them!

History of Four Poster Beds

Fun fact - The earliest known four poster bed was made in 1590 for Queen Elizabeth I ! The four posts were often carved with intricate designs, and curtains were hung from them to provide privacy.
