Brand Spotlight - Pop Up Desks

They had me at "No screws or equipment needed!" 

I know, even working in the industry, how frustrating it is when I have to try and assemble furniture.  I know it is required to do our job, but counting screws and ensuring I have a screw driver or allen key at all times makes me slightly anxious on how long it will take!  So when I had the chance to catch up with the team at Pop Up Desks I was like "Yep, tell me all about them!".

The first thing the team told be about was how they are part of a bigger company called Displaywise, which do all the exhibition stand designs for trade shows. As you can imagine, the year that we just had with COVID, this industry went quiet really quickly, business pretty much stopped.  So this crew had to think quickly about how to keep staff, maintain cash flow and everything else that goes with business and used their industrial design skills and Australian manufacturing experience to develop these great Pop Up Desks and other products! Pretty smart I say!

So the best thing about these products is that they are Australian made and designed .. oh yeah and come in seven different trendy colours too!

So let me tell you a little bit about them.

The Essentials Classic & Junior Desk.

Great colours, great designs and ever so practical!  Perfect for the home office, children's bedrooms or any space really, with plenty of room for a computer and other desk items.  They are made from high quality MDF with a  laminate finish, the desk can be easily cleaned and will fit in with any home environment.

Need to move it around or store it away? No problem, it’s as easy to pop up as it is to pop down.  Best part - no screws, easy to assemble and disassemble in minutes.

They come in two sizes;

Classic Dimensions: 748mm x 1190mm x 590mm

Junior Dimensions: 600mm x 1190mm x 590mm

If you love the desk but need a little bit more room and your screen higher, then check out the Classic Riser - designed to fit with the Classic 1200mm wide desks, including The Junior Classic and The Essential Classic. This addition has been designed to house your screen/s and other such items, leaving room you for more desk space underneath. They are an additional cost, but can be purchased as a package with a desk!
